Defying the odds, singer songwriter extraordinaire Ian Britt pulls at our heartstrings once again with his relaxed, yet catchy music. With a feel-good, summertime vibe, clever lyrics, no record label and... err... no shoes, it seems as though the sky could perhaps be the limit for this craftsman.

Although the general feel of the music is traditional and folky, this product may contain traces of rock n roll, ska, indie, and punk and have the odd electronic twinge here and there. This variety is what makes this music so original and so pleasantly edgy.

I have to admit that I am wary of mentioning 'sound-alike' artists as there aren't really any musicians Ian appears to have modelled himself on. Instead I'll say that anyone with a leaning towards artists such as Jack Johnson, Paul Simon, Jamie Cullum or anybody into soulful, summery guitar music will be well into this guy.
